Megan Marlena currently starts her day on the ABC 7 morning show in San Francisco, CA. She is the morning traffic reporter where she provides Bay Area commuters with traffic information 6 times an hour from 4:30 am to 9 am weekday mornings.

Megan began her broadcasting career in Los Angeles co-hosting a popular morning radio show on KKJZ FM radio. As the station's Entertainment Reporter, she interviewed the likes of Hugh Heffner, Bill Cosby, Minnie Driver, Cybill Shepard, Jamie Fox, Andy Garcia, and dozens of jazz legends including Oscar Peterson, Dave Brubeck, Sonny Rollins, and Wynton Marsalis. Her position required frequent travel to New York to cover landmark music events. Covering the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina in New Orleans serves as her most memorable and rewarding reporting experience. When she wasn’t conducting interviews or in the studio, Megan was representing the station as a host and emcee at numerous events and concerts through out Southern California.

For the past 7 years Megan has also worked as a trade show presenter, master of ceremonies, on-camera host, and voice talent for a multitude of corporate events and creative projects.

Megan Marlena is currently available for hire as a professional voice, live event and on air talent for radio and television commercials, corporate conference introductions, and live announcing.
